It would be pronounced Ash-a (short a). We are thinking of Asha Aidan. (Husband is Irish and I am Indian) What do you think of that?

I had to think for a moment... but after a few seconds I really liked it. I am not a big fan of "unique" names that become overused.... Jaiden is one that seems to have had that happen. But I have never heard Asha and I think it is sweet and almost seems a name that is unique but familar... if that makes any sense. I like it a lot!

Very pretty and unusual. I wonder what her middle name will be. I really like Asha for a name.:)

Asha's nice.. unique to my ears. Just make sure your surname isn't the 1 syllable.

It sounds to me like Asher, but that someone forgot to finish it. I like it with the long a better though A-sha, sounds kind of like Asia though.
