Sometimes a women does just experience a 'gut' feeling about being pregnant. Many I have spoken to said that they just 'knew' they were but couldnt describe how they knew exactly. When I myself was pregnant I had the same feeling, I had a strange pain on one side at ovulation which I never experience & then I just remember on the day of my missed period I had all the test ready, took it & knew it was going to be positive. Its hard to describe how I knew, Its almost as if I didnt even tell myself in my head I was pregnant, it was just my actions. It was all very calm and knowing, like I knew but I didnt know!
Sorry it doesnt really make much sense it is quite sureal and hard to pinpoint, plus for me it was 6 years ago, but it is quite distinct in my mind.
Unfortunately though when you really want a baby your mind can play awful tricks on you too. For several months I kept beleiving I was pregnant, I had symptoms they all seemed different to last month, so I was convinced it wasnt my period coming on............but it always did. I still retested beleiving I still could be pregnant, to get a neg result. I think I wanted it sooo badly I truly beleived it WAS happening, because I wanted it to be. You may unfortunately be similar to me......I dont like to say waht you dont want to hear, but this can happen. Everyone is different though, so if you suspect at all you are pregnant, get your doctor to carry out a blood test, they are much more sensitive & accurate and you will know for sure very soon. Take care x

While I was pregnant I had my period the first six months. I thought I was pregnant but I never had a positive teat at home so until I went to the doctor I didn't know since I was also having my period. I was three months along before I knew. I will never trust the at home test anymore. You do not need to make a doctors appointment just call and have them order it in the lab. The doctors will sent an order there for you. Best Wishes

I have not experienced this but my friend had similar problems she hat her period for 3 months when she was pregnant and the tests came back negative too for the first month or so. It is also possible that your mind is playing tricks on you sometimes you can convince yourself that you are pregnant even if you are not.
