I graduated last year with a degree in German and Spanish but now I don't want to do anything with languages anymore. I'm just sick of them. Anyway, I still don't have a job because basically I don't know what to do. I've applied for a few regular jobs (in shops etc) but i haven't heard anything back from those I applied to. I've applied for a secretary job which I hope I will get an interview for but my mum keeps nagging me saying I should be handing in CV's everywhere but I don't want to be getting interviews for places where I really don't want to work. Am i being too picky? Ideally I'd love to do acting but I don't have any experience and I'm not that confident. I'm so mixed up! Please help someone!

Start somewhere and then you will have references for future positions. It would be nice to get that "dream job" right away but it doesn't always work out that way.

Why not find some companies who need interpreters? They pay pretty well. I know insurance companies need them, or you can go independent, and this way you can have tax write offs for your home office, transportation costs...etc. Wish you the best! Go apply for a job with an insurance company and see where you can go from there. I think they'll need you in the claims department.
