I'm not sure if you are talking about "Plan B" pill. if that is the pill you are talking about, then intercourse is fine any time. I linked the FAQs about Plan B.
If you are talking about an abortion pill for a pregnancy that is already verified, then it's best to take the doctor's advise. Most likely using a condom is all the precaution you will need to take. But your wife may not feel comfortable have intercourse so soon after. So check with your wife and ask her doctor to be sure.

Usually takes 2-4 weeks, to decrease the chance of infection. Wait until your wife has her follow-up appointment and gets the okay from her MD.
And definitely use birth control in some form or another next time.
