Without knowing which country you're in, there isn't a lot I can say. All I do know, is that here in the UK we have laws against this kind of discrimination, so you would be protected. Good luck wherever you are, and congratulations on the baby!

First of all, look up some facts regarding the FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act)....it will show you that it's against the law to discriminate against pregnant women. Your boss can NOT get away with this unless you have given him reason other wise. They can still fire you for your performance, but the can't because you're pregnant. Stand up for yourself. Good luck.

Don't be crazy - you shouldn't have to resign. It is against the law. Why have you told your boss so early? You don't need the added stress.

your boss can NOT sack you for being pregnant!! it is against the law.. and for him to pressure you is just wrong.. tell him that if he continues to pressure you to leave your job you will have no other option but to seek legal action!! dont let him stress you out especially in these early stages of your pregnancy.. goodluck :)
