Hell yes
without knowing everything about yourself that can be known -- how can you have a totally honest view of who you are within the world--- knowing these things are a major part of the overall makeup OF a person !!!
There is not only --no disgrace in being adopted--- there are a lot of really superbly cool things about it !! The very fact that a set of parents actually Pick you has got to be a dang neat thing !!!!

I have spoken to a few adoptees. Many are so content with their adopted family, that they don't look for any more details.
One of the scariest times is when a baby comes along ... are there any medical problems in the family history?

Unfortunately we dont always get to choose our parents so if I got a second chance I probably wouldnt knock it, not that I would choose, but having said that even when our parents fail us, they are still our parents and nothing can change that, even parents who would never put their kids up for adoption can "Fail" them too.
I would definitely want to know no matter how much confusion it would cause.

No.......I'm so much pragmatic.......so if they gave me in adoption without thinking about me or what I should need them in the future...............why should I look for them???
My biological parents were an accident......but the ones that raised me...that were by my side when i had my first tooth....my first fever....my first step......that were by my side without sleep in the nights when i needed them....that would be my only parents for me and the only ones that would deserve all my love.

Yes. No disrespect to the parents who raised me. I would like to know if there are any brothers/sisters out there. Also, probably would need to know if there are any medical issues that I would need to know for my kids.

well, that's a tough one...I think no one will answer it better than someone who was adopted...I think most of them go looking for their biological parents, so yes, they would want to know.
But when I was younger, I always wished I was adopted...I would dream of going looking for my real parents...lol...I was stupid

Yes. But I do believe that the true parents are those who raised the child.

well its not so important if your adopters are your relatives or if they take care of you well. but with curiosity you can search for your real parents
