Don't ask how, just do. Get help with counseling for yourself, or life coaching someone you can get help with but just do it. You will be happy you did. You deserve better, there are better men out there but the longer you stay the longer it will take to undo the damage you are doing to your self..... I wish you all the best, feel the fear and do it anyway! Don't do another 6 months and post this question that your miserable still... Sweetheart that is just so sad, life is far too short to waste it like this. What advice would you give your best friend or say your sister in the similar situation? Okay, now follow that. Value yourself otherwise no one else will.

you probably should have waited get physical with someone else because that will only make things worse. but now since you have cheated you might as well end it so get out thats all you can do. grab a friend or two (for safety since you say hes abusive, I doubt hell like the idea of you moving out) and go to your place and pack all your stuff and dont tell him where youre going, and start the divorce process.

This is all up to you,you said that still hurt after all this time, and he committed adultery you have all the weapon that you can use to tell him what you think about what and who he is. Don't make your life miserable and let yourself taken by this. This is not good for your health and for your mind.
We or I can't tell you what to do except to give you some input of what we think,but it's in your hand now to do something about it. Life is to short for you not to be happy, just be strong....

Well sounds to me like you won't survive if you don't leave??? Tons of women and men survive on there own everyday you should question your own lot in life if you need someone to help you thru it.
