My brother and I were jumpin' on a tree branch when it broke, I was bout 7 and he was 8. He jumped to make it over the fence but I wasn't quick enough and i fell straight onto a rusty barbed wire fence where I stayed for over a half of an hour unable to touch the ground until my brother got help......... I still don't like barbed wire fences!!!!

Other than looking in the mirror - (thats pretty scary) waking up next to my husband is a close call (bless him).

Seriously, I did have a near death experience, although I remember it well - I was only a child and had no fear of death. I still haven't, I'm more concerned how I will die.

I don't know if it counts as scariest, but many years ago, I was visiting Alcatraz - we were locked in solitary confinement, just for a minute or so. Even though there were a few of us in there, we were told not to speak or touch one another. It was pitch black and silent......really weird. Although I was ok with it, I think if I'd been in there on my own for any period of time, I would have cracked up.

When I was about 7 years old,my dad was driving across a draw bridge in Houma. We were still on the bridge when all of a sudden they closed the bridge on us and we were lifted 14 ft. in the air and had to stay there until the boats passed. It was scary because back then I was afraid of heights.

having a double somersault bad fall on my first time down a red run, having to hike back up the piste coz I'd lost the bottle to carry on down and then the ski lifts closed coz of the time of day.
My back and head were absolutely killing me after the fall and i just sat down and lost the will to carry on hiking up this slope!!
After a bit I pulled myself together and got up to the top and begged with the workers to turn the lift back on for me.

Not heart racingly scary but sure scared me!!

I have since mastered the red runs (and even the black ones)!!!

I almost killed my daughter. I was swinging her up onto my shoulders and I didn't realize that an overhead fire extinguisher was on the ceiling and I miss her head by inches. I still cringe when I think about what could have happened.

After something scary happens, I don't think that it's scry anymore. There's one though, I almost drown at the bottom of a lake and no one knew I was drowning. Fortunately, I managed to save myself. :-)

I was jogging one morning, and this big dog was growling and chasing me. I prayed the most sincere prayer, and the dog turned around and went the other way. God does hear us in our time of need.
