Hi!

Shaving - don't do it! The hair comes back itchy (feels awful under your work shirt, apparently!), red and spikey. It's very time consuming if you do you whole torso.

Waxing - you could give this a go! But get it done at a salon. Some men have a sensitive reaction to the wax though, so be careful.

Clipping - you never mentioned this, but I think this is the best option! I do this for my boyfriend :-) It's very easy to do on your own, too. This leaves you with a nice, very short light covering of hair, but enables you to see what's underneath.

I personally like a man with clipped hair! I don't like the waxed look. Hair is manly and sexy!

In terms of how far you should go - if you do the clipping, basically everywhere other than your arms and legs. If you wax, the chest, stomach, back and shoulders.

I hope this helps :-)

xx Emmie

Body builders always wax or shave to show their muscles off. I think shaving is better short term (like for a competition) but if you want to do it for a long period of time you should wax. And wax everything - chest, arms, legs, etc.

If you start to shave, you need to keep doing it regularly.
Yes, the first time takes AGES, but once it is short it is actually quite quick to do again, and as you get more practise it gets quicker.
Waxing costs too much and I don't think it's worth it, sugaring could be a cheaper option.

I clipper now, because it is quicker, easier, and if you forget to do it for a couple of weeks, it doesn't really notice too bad.

Think about when you're changing in the gym as well though.
If you shave everywhere but your rear end, it can look a bit wierd in front of your buddies!

i'm a walking carpet. for many years i would nair, wax, or shave. ultimately, i decided to leave it be. as other answerers have indicated, there are plenty who like the hirsuite look. if you don't like it and really want a way to show off the muscles more, i'd suggest clipping or waxing. at least for me, the "regrowth" is itchy and painful. so if you start doing any hair removal, just make sure to keep it up. do what feels best for you.

In my opinion you should leave it as it is, i love a hairy chest! However if you want to get rid of it, i'd advise waxing. Shaving causes itching and ingrowing hairs and grows bk alot quicker than if you wax. If you are going to wax just stick to ur chest/back, leave ur legs alone!!

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Men who shave or (especially) wax their bodies end up looking like sexless Ken dolls. Hair is manly, and a real turn-on for women who are not Barbie dolls.

Waxing would be disastrous - you just get spikey stubble then which is not a good look on your chest etc. Waxing is the best option but don't do your legs unless you are gay because it does just look very gay.

Well personally I prefer the hair on guys its a real turn on for me but if you really want to get rid of it I'd say shave it shorter.

I am not a big fan of this, but most the people I know use depilitation creams, as shaving has the problems of nicks
