I was like that! You think about all the times you spent together, looking back on all the things you done. When either one of you was sad the other was there to comfort them or if it was your happiest time, of your life they was there to enjoy it with you or when nobody knows your darkest secret but they do you know that you can trust them... but then it happens the break up! What do you do then? because every thing you done in your life was with this person and you don't want to go and meet someone new and start all over again do you? No! i say you do, you never no the connection between you might be stronger than your ex! (sorry for the essay)

Hi It's normal to think about your ex after all you loved him, and love can't just go away over night. It will take time. You have give nothing away in your question, did you end the relationship or your ex. My view on this is if it was your ex who ended it yes you will be hurting and thinking of him all the time,if it was you, you wouldn't have a second thought for him. Go out with your friends enjoy yourself, I don't think your ex will be sitting at home thinking of you. Your relationship with this guy has ended don't look back move forward, he wasn't right for you or you would still be together. Busy yourself it won't be long before you meet someone new, then you will be saying ex bf what ex bf. xxx

Perhaps because it's very recent and the wounds haven't healed. More likely this happens because we need a distraction - something to take our minds off the ruined relationship. This will help as long as you don't use another person to help you get over your ex - this may result in a lot of hurt unnecessarily.

because you havent fully moved on, just go out & have fun & when you are just staying in, keep your mind busy by watching a dvd or something. time is a healer. also thinking about your ex isnt a bad thing, im sure tehy were once an important part of your life so its normal for you to keep thinking about them. i still think about my ex even though i would say ive moved on, its only natural. just make sure it doesnt affect you from enjoying & living your life to the full.

Because he was such a big part of your life/ daily routine, when our routine changes, we can yearn for it back, just remember he's an ex for a reason. Suggestions: The days you spent with him, do something new, or go out with friends, once your happy in your new routine, you will miss him less, also everytime you think of him, make yourself think of his bad points!!!

Because you obviously loved him/her very much. Its not abnormal to feel this way..You should try to start seeing new people, time heal all wounds and oh yes..dont forget why he is your ex in the first place

Because you are allowing yourself to remember. Try finding a hobby to take your mind off the person.
