The last thing I lost was my coat. I'm a bit miffed for two reasons: I won it in a Big Air competition, so there isn't another one like it, and it had my headphones in it.
So on a superficial level, enough cash for a new and better coat, and better headphones could not partially, but entirely compensate.
Emotionally, I don't think I'll ever get over it. Anyone know where there's a bridge?

I haven't lost anything yet, but a great career would partially compensate what I am about to lose.

They already tried to compensate me but nothing will ever fill the void, not even partially.

This is probably about the only time I'd say money; I've lost my car and I've lost myself...I lost myself because my job forces me to be someone else, and I can't stand that.....

Free guitar strings.
Come to think of it, that would more than compensate.
