You can't catch me on that one, leo! Maximum indicates a quantity, however large it is, whereas with Infinity there is no end at all. In fact Infinity has no quantity at all. Which doesn't answer your question, it only compounds it!

If a value has a maximum it has a quantifiable answer and therefore an end value.
Infinity is not a quantifiable value it can never be reached, in theoretical math values can be said to approach infinity but it is not an achievable value.
So if you really need an answer you can never reach infinity therefore it it would be larger than a "maximum" value. But that's a bit of a strech.

Infinity is never ending maximum is the highest which is at the limit and infinity has no limit there for since infinity has no limit then it is the highest.
Now I have a question for you "what is the maximum of infinity?" :)

those are two different things
Maximum refers to the largest possible value. it can be a fraction/decimal or a very big number but the point is that with a maximum, you stop at that point.
Infinity refers to a value that is impossible to reach. It's a value that just never stops increasing (or decreasing in the case of a negative infinity)

depends, maximum of what???
usually, infinity is larger because there is nothing larger than infinity, however maximum can be infinity, too

That would be infinity, since infinity is a limitless amount that goes beyond whatever maximum amount is being measured.

Maximum is a limit like the maximum speed of a car. Infinity is without limit (like the payments on a car?).

infinity is bigger u cannot measure it ,but some things have a limit ,its extreme end is maximum.eg u cannot measure outer space ,and u can measure the maximum number of schools in a town.etc
