Help please. My 10 year old brother has been smitten with his female classmate and often tries to follow her home. He also often harasses her during class by giving her lots of gifts,stopping her from talking to other boys,following her to the toilet and now the principal has given us a warning. Help please?

LOL j/k,you should talk to him through this as the cool brother so that way he feels understood but also be very very assertive so the lil guy won't take your tolerance for granted

Is to tell the boy that the teacher will report back any of his distracted behavior. Going to the classroom without his expecting you will make it real for him. Just go (you can let the teacher know in advance) and ask how *Name* is doing and step into the hallway for a moment. The whole class will hold him accountable (in that convicting way that 10 year olds have!!!) for acting right, focusing. It won't be enough to embarrass him, but he will get the warning of things to come. Correction, yeah it will embarrass him a little, but you've got to do something like this to bring him back into reality. Personal image is everything to the TWEEN. They care about what their peers think to a fault. You've got to use that to your advantage.

Your brother sounds like a stalker, lol. He's got the potential of being one. I would seek help for him right away. Professional help. Especially if the girl isn't responding.

u want to stop your brother huh? simple... u can try FORCING HIM to DO MORE HOMEWORK!! I think he likes the female classmate alot... but.... the only way is... wait til next year... if they spilt classes, then they won't have a lot of chance hanging out together.... okay... this is my advice.

Let your parents handle their job; If that fails, rent him his own midget stripper for his birthday, but tell him he can't have her unless he stops this foolish behavior right away!

if he's your little brother, then do what all brothers do, beat him until he pays attention. not literally, but you could always rough him up a bit until he understands your point. it's what family is for!
