Your gift should be timeless....something that can be passed on from generation to generation......a heirloom....maybe a really nice watch or a piece of jewellery....a solitaire maybe !
Also depends on your budget!

You wana get like one of tehm "experience" gift packages, like you know a day at a spa with a friend and stuff like that. material things dont really matter at their age. experiences are better. and i agree with whoever suggested the dinner thing to. She would be thrilled to bits having her family together i bet. make it a surprise. if not just send her off to kenya on a safari. ;)

365 days i purchased my mom a necklace that suggested "mom's young ones" from it u carry a charm for each of her young ones, even if youngster, in the birthstone of the youngster. considering that there replaced into 3 human beings, i desirous to comprise the grandkid (in undemanding words a million). She loved it a lot.

We made a dvd for her. Family photos, movies, put it to music, etc of the entire family. Kind of a "this is your life"- so far. She really enjoyed it, and it is something she can share with friends and family! Good Luck.

Can't go wrong with dinner. Make sure whole family is there. At 60 there probably aren't too many things she needs.
