The way the body works is that the sweat glands produce the odor and then it travels down the hair to be picked up by the wind and spread around for all to smell. Your natural scent use to be attractive to the opposite sex until someone said that it was unbecomming. (That's society for ya!) Now we cover our natural scent and apply an artificial one. (for a small fee)

So, to answer your question, cut your hair and stop the spread of the smell. The deodorant will be closer to the sweat glands and should stop the odor. (if not, change brands)

I have read that it does. its because odor molecules stick to the hairs, which basically means a lots more surface area (think back to mathh class) so if you have no hair, there is less area to cover and hence less odor. plus when applying deodorants and antiperspirants, they are directly on the skin instead of stuck in the hair (which wont do much). Think befor eyou decide to shave though, while sme guys oout there do it, its not extremely common and you will likely get some rude remarks from those that do notice. just make sur eyou can hande that. good luck!

No shaving the hair won't decrease the sweat. The peculiarity of armpit hair is that it holds smell from the sweat. So, shaving, or a minimum of trimming the hair off won't carry undesirable smell, yet in as lots won't ward off sweating. electric powered razor are best because it would not reason itch or razor bumps!

Yeah, big differance. Doesn't have to be shaved, i keep mine around 1/4 inch. It looks more normal to me, but cuts the smell a _lot_.
