No we are not Doomed. We have a lot of good people living in this great nation and that's what matters. And that's what keeps this country from being doomed.

No the USA hasn't truned that corner yet. If america loses its war of ideology with the middle east then it is doomed. People thought similar during parts of the cold war but America stood up for its beliefs, it was long, hard and seemed unwinnable at times but the US came through, the USSR fell and I do believe it was a safer world until Islam took the fight to west. Had the USA stood down from the Cuban Missile Crisis or the Berlin Blockade then it may well have been doomed but it stood up and took the challenge.
As long as the US has the will to stand up for western values it will never be doomed, just don't vote liberal whatever you do.

the conservative's agenda of actively avoiding progress and change and always wanting to stay the course or follow traditional methods will be the downfall of our nation.
Not adapting to a ever changing world is our biggest threat and the conservatives, not liberals, are the ones responsible for this behavoir.
