Wow...tough to narrow it down to just one a piece. But if I were stuck on a deserted island for the next 10 years and HAD to choose only one for each category, it'd have to be:
1) "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin
2) "Braveheart"
The song is long and has a very appealing sound to me. It's just my favorite song of all time (just inching out "Stairway to Heaven," by the same group. Braveheart is just the best movie ever made. It's exciting, heartwrenching, visually stunning, great acting, fantastic musical score, intriguing subject matter with a superb story arc, and it causes you to question life and your own importance in history, as well as cause you to scrutinize your own soul with regard to morals, scruples, values and how far you're willing to go for the most treasured thing(s) in your life.
