If you do not have anything in writing here is a tip
if that person owes you ..say $ 100.oo
you send them a letter saying they owe you $ 200.00
they will write back and say .."hey man, i only owe you $ 100.00.." then now you have proof that they owe you money.
I have a brother who borrowed 350 dollars from me 22 years ago..he told me he would pay me 50 dollars a month interest on the money...$ 12,500.00...laughing out loud.
but if he ever asks for a penny i will throw this in his face as he has done this to anyone who would lend him money.
and he worked for Edison and retired when he was 62 with a full pension...so much for honor...they don't call him Harlan for nothing..Hard on me is more like it...my kids owe me money too as my ex wife was and is still a big mooch and free loader. Free loaders have no honor.
My father used to say..if you ever want to get rid of someone for good ..just loan them some money...sad to say this is true.
