My partner and I have been together for ten years. He has never asked me to marry him. We have talked about it and he doesn't see what difference it will make to our relationship. We own a house together and he thinks the mortgage is more of a commitment then a marriage.
I know he loves me, and a wedding would be nice, however I have recently started to think, what difference will it make. We are both happy the way we are and a marriage isn't going to change anything.
DO you just want a marriage so you can have a wedding or is there more to it than that?
I hope he makes you happy, and I don't think a wedding should change that.

Depends on what's more important to someone like that. The love or the phobia.

The best way to cure any phobia is to do what you are so afraid of. Make a commitment.

Has this person done anything to make you not trust them? Just because this person has a matrimonial phobia does not mean they cannot be trusted.
