according to free translation.com english translation is you take them. there is no portugese translation into english. it also does not mean tomato as somebody else stated above. tomato in spanish and portugeues is tomate for both languages.

It might actually be a word from the coast miwok indian tribe who inhabited the region first. The Tomales Bay part was created to try and save part of that land.

i think that term means "Tomato" in either in Spanish or Portguese. So i think Tomales bay describes obese people. if i you love tomales, listen to " Asjere" by Las Ketchup.
