There is nothing scientifically mystical about the number 3. It is a prime number and that is about it.

Science--as we know it--is not where "The Power of Three" comes from. In many ancient cultures, the number three was a sacred, lucky or magic number. Maiden, Mother, Crone. is one example; The Celts had three different trees they counted among the 3; the ancient Greeks and Romans had goddesses they saw as three, i.e. a different face--of a different entity--on a "three-sided" head; other cultures had animals, etc. All remaining ancient "3 faces" statues, i.e., in Greece and Rome, as well as other ancient artifacts of these things, in museums--can still be seen today. With this information in mind--and also existing in "fact"--the very solid images created into art--I cannot not see your view at all as possibly scientific, especially regarding the things people believed in those days--what did ordinary and common people know of science? (I am not talking Archimedes here) --nothing exists pointing that way--but I understand what you're saying. I don't think the past--that which has already happened--flows from the center--which sounds to me like a constant renewing. So, I guess I'm one of those people who sees it radiating from above; certainly we are not equal to the "facts," or entities, etc., and therefore, the way I see it cannot be on a lateral plane. Also, I think your "pyramid" shape narrows such a magnitude of things to a single "power," and that is just not the way it exists. At least to my knowledge.
Very interesting question!

Great thinking. Tell the Natural History and Science museums immediately. If they laugh, try Old Moores Almanac !
