i just turned 23.. i think im pretty mature for my age, but i dont know.. havent found the definition anywhere, so i thought i would turn to my fellow YA'ers for help

im tolerant of others, respectful, appreciative of what i have in life, but i dont think this enough..

what else does one have to have in order to be considered, or to consider themself "grown-up?"

Some of this grown-up stuff is a myth. However, you are on the right track to making responsible choices in life.

A grown-up is someone able to step up to the plate and be accountable for /to himself/herself.

Grown up is over 18 years old by law

responsibility is a big one and probably a lot more but I'm pretty sure I don't make the qualifications so who am I to say what they are

I never seemed to get respect from 'older' people till i had kids!! - though i'm definately NOT suggesting you go out and have some right now!!!!!!!!!!!!
