i hav just found out that im pregnant,around 5 weeks. i was wondering wen do you start showing? i hav a 5year old but i cant really remember and ive heard that you show quicker with your second?

You do show quicker with your second and subsequent pregnancies - your body has been stretched once before.
It's usually around about 3.5 - 4 months that you will notice a bump, but of course that depends on what size you are when not pregnant - a skinny girl might show much sooner while someone a bit fuller might not show until well after 4 months.

I did find I showed a lot quicker with my second, with my first I didn't start showing till I was about 7 months but with my second it was about 4/5 months.

Im now pregnant with my 3rd baby and am 14 weeks and have only just started to get a little rise !!
With my second i didnt start to show until i was about 4-5 months.

I'm pregnant w/ my 1st... about 14 weeks along. I am showing a little .... but if I'm wearing a sweatshirt, you can't tell that I'm expecting. I have felt like I have been showing since I was about 8 weeks - but no one could tell except me and my husband (unless he was just agreeing to humor me) I heard that you start to really show around 17 weeks(ish) ... and that it is sooner w/ your second because your muscles are already relaxed...

I've been told you show quicker with your second as well, I started showing with my first though, at about 16-18 weeks. People started stopping me and congratulating me when I was about 20 weeks+.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I've heard that a 2nd pregnancy shows sooner too as your muscles and skin have already been stretched previously so give a little more easily the next time round.
I guess it depends a lot on your shape and size to start with, too. With my son I was quite slim and started to show at about 12wks. I'm bigger since having him though so think that when the time comes to having number two it won't show as early!!
My (slim) friend had a definite bump by about 7/8wks....and discovered she was having twins!

I did not show at all during the entire pregnancy. You may start showing around 4 months or not until 7. Everyone is different.

It's been proven that first time moms shows later in pregnancy and second time moms shows sooner. Well, I think that is true but it should also depends on the person's body structure.
