I have already given the house to my ex (£100K + equity) and pay her cash every month, but now she has got the CSA involved. I am happily married now but my wife has got her own business (had before I met her) Can the CSA chase her for money

the CSA chase the non-resident parent for money. if you have been giving her money, don't worry, because she can't have it back-dated. (meaning they can't take money from you which you have already paid) they will only start the claim from when she first made the call. also, she may have shot herself in the foot, because there is a good chance that she may have been asking for more than what the CSA calculate. they could possibly take less!
The main thing is........they can't take any money from your wife.

Hi

It is only you that the CSA will chase. I was in a similar situation to yourself, I paid my ex wife each month (about £250 for one child!!) without the need for the CSA. My ex decided to get the CSA involved and now I only pay £140!!! although I still pay my ex direct. Make sure you keep a record of how much you have paid in maintenance too so you can prove you are maintaining your kids. I threatened to take the CSA to court if they didn't stop hassling me as they tried to claim I wasn't paying money so I was glad I had cheques stubs/bank statements etc.

Unless the rules have changed recently then you can roughly work out how much you'll have to pay using the following....

If you have any dependant kids at home, yours or your new partners then you can deduct 15% of your salary for the first child then 5% for each further child. As you have three children to pay for then you will have to pay 25% of the remainder. If you regularly have your kids to stay you can also deduct money for this too but that can start getting messy.

Hope this helps.

Dean

You have to find out now before it goes further. My husband had been through with CSA, they won't listen his side, it awful and very upset. He pay his ex for years, never let her down for his children's sake also pay other thing like clothes, hoilday, etc. When his ex apply CSA ( I don't know why she do that to him, think she is jealous} after it upset him and his children too much.

CSA should look for father who had not pay anything, not to father who always pay and help.

Hope you and your kids okay.

I, in my opinion, think of the sister ought to have seen the source in the past marrying him yet she is entitled to marry whomever she choose. As on your spouse, this has been a very long term in the past. Your spouse seems to be over it. She and he the two have babies. do no longer you think of you ought to recover from it additionally? How do you think of your spouse might had reacted if say, and this would properly be a determine of speech purely, your brother married a woman you have been in touch with 10 years in the past sexually. might this paint you a diverse image? would not have been something you ought to had completed with reference to the placement to keep away from your brother from marrying her and a similar for you spouse and her sister. and that they have got been sisters long in the past the two of you men. Blood runs thicker than water. So except you like difficult and harm emotions, i might advise do no longer intervene with sisterhood. enable your babies be the cousins they are. you're starting to be to be a private loathe on your now brother in regulation, however the whole kinfolk would not must be attentive to this. sounds choose to me, you would be consume up with jealousy, that's quiet obvious which you have not got something to rigidity approximately. Your spouse picked you probably did no longer she? recover from it.
