pregnancy pains? am 31 weeks?

Question

Hi all, ok am 31 weeks as you can see, last couple of days i have had a wierd like stitch pain inmy right hand side, near my ribs, could this be flump kicking my ribs:? also pain in top lef tshoulder, now i know you sometimes get this fi it is an ectopic preg and its def not that so is it just aches and pains? also i have itchy hands at the minute.

any ideas anyone?

As you have itchy hands I would definitely go to
the doctor. It may not be much but they will do
a simple blood test. I had itchiness (on my legs) they told
me that it could be my liver BUT PLEASE do assume
this is what is wrong with you. Just be aware and go to
your doc..
I had High Blood Pressure and Protein in my Water
also.

Your body is going to act very weird for the next few weeks until you do give birth, and even after. You are too far along for this to be an ectopic pregnancy. My mum says the last 10 weeks are always the longest--you are at your biggest and most uncomfortable, ready for the child to come, ready to sleep on your tummy again, and just want the whole ordeal to be over. OMG i sooo went through all of that with both my kids. It really is just aches and pains hun. You gotta remember all the strain flump is putting on your body. Something that it itsn't at all used to. It's just your body's way of protesting. With my first i ended up in agony crying on the floor once and got rushed to hospital only to be told there was nothing wrong with me and to sit in a warm bath to ease it. I felt like a right numpty. Don't worry girl not to long to go now. Then the fun really starts :-D good luck

You are 31 weeks pregnant. You are getting bigger, retaining water, your baby has taken over most of your stomach and your organs are being squished. The stitch is prob the baby just leaning on something all the time - that happened to me, but if it is really concerning you go see a midwife.
The itchiness is just you swelling.
Sounds all perfectly normal to me, but again if you are really worried go see a midwife to put your mind at ease.

Itchiness can occur in pregnancy due to hormone changes, however if you feel worried at all about the pains you should speak to ur midwife/doctor, if just to put ur mind at rest, they wont mind answering your questions. I'm sure they're nothing to worry about but its better to be safe than sorry.

Hi Lisa,
As your baby grows they put more pressure on your spine or nerves etc.So don't worry I have also experienced numbness tingling in different parts of body whilst carrying my sons.Mention to your Midwife about itchy hands and ask her if it could possibly be your blood sugars? ectopic pregnancy is not it you would be dead cause the baby at 31 weeks is waaaaay to big... i have had 3 kids and thats perfectly normal.. actually it gets worse lol... as long as there is no blood and there not contractions ur fine.. sometimes the baby sits on nerves that cause certain sides to hurt... congrads on the little stinker! kids are awesome!

sounds like normal pains to me at your gestation..... wind can trap under your ribs & in shoulders .... nice!!!!
itching can be serious but normally when it's all over, just check with your midwife over the phone.
I used to get those pains all the time, especially if i was bendind over alot or hunched up.

Itchy hands & feety is a sign of liver failure in pregnancy, please go for a check up. I hope its nothing though. xxxx
