Halliburton's CEO, David Lesar, waited till he was in Bahrain to announce its plan to relocate ASAP to Dubai. With all the uproar over the billions that Halliburton has cheated us out of on military contracts just since 2003, it's not likely that he'll be coming back soon willingly. Cheney headed that company before joining Bush on the GOP ticket. One guess where he plans to retire...

lol, I heard it was for better employee wages, since "America" was under unions and demands that people be payed a fair share for their work, while the owners can take year long vacations and get paid millions for it.

You should better understand the economy about the working class versus the owning class and you will find out why Halliburton moved its operations over there. Its not political, its about money.

There is not criminal action to be filed in this, its called business, but will the other business world accept it,.....stay tuned to Eric G for more......

onI say if we cant go after bush go after Cheney.And Halibuton. I am tired of watching our soldiers die for politics..I am so pissed off at the democrats.Ashamed is more the word.Someday we will have a civil war here in the states.
The American people are tired of all the BSers we elect to represent us lining their own pockets.And the fact that our votes DONT MEAN SH?T!!!Someday it will be our kids picking up the guns and fighting to bring back our constitution

Halliburton is going to maintain offices in the US and will still have to adhere to all US laws. Its just the physical location of their HQ that will be moving to Dubai.

They still have MAJOR investments in the US that could be seized...IF...any of your allegations are true...which they probibly arent...considering that people from ...BOTH...sides of the Isle have major investments in the company...

Messy situation any way you look at it. Flee investigation yes - flee prosecution if that is where it goes - no. It is unlikely that any criminal charges will ever be made. But Ralph Nader may very well sue.
