Not a wine, but a beer (although I don't drink beer) ...
In my state I got caught between changes in the drinking age laws and no Grandfather clauses were given. So for "anti-establishment" Christmas, I brewed some homemade dark beer to give as gifts and named it using my Great Grandfather's name. He was a horse whisperer. I made labels showing him and one of his favorite horses, making the horse opaque so the beer color would show through the label as the horse's hair color.
Thanks for the 'Trigger' memory.
