this one applies more for my friends:
"a friend in need is a friend in DEED" (not sure if you were making a wordplay... lol)
Because to that I would answers with YES because every friend I counted as a friend and even those I hadn't seen in years were there for me when I most "needed" them and they did their "deeds" for me wherever they could without me asking....
I feel blessed having such friends. :)

Totally. In my entire life, I've seen a lot of friends.
I've played the role of a son, a brother, a boy-friend, a student, a programmer, a hostel-boy......., but more than anything else, I've played the friend's role very well.
If I'm answering this question from my friends' side, my answer will be: "Ask a friend instead of asking anybody else."

yep i do hey.. and they also start off by acting so nice, then pooofff.. they drop the request... well now i can usually read through all that 'niceness' and would have already prepared my answer - NO...
