i have a laptop siemens e series but the cd broken in it i put an external cd rom but when i restart my computer i can not do boot please tell me the problem

Computers made within the last year or two will allow you to boot from USB. You will need to enter the bios, pressing the ESC or Delete buttons while booting, and see if you can set the boot drive to USB......USB should be first drive to boot from if you do have this option......then cd, then hard drive......

Hit F8 F10 Escape or Delete. (whichever key gets you into your bios) when you first start your computer. Then change the boot order so that the first option is to boot from external cd-rom or usb device. Then restart.

Quickly hit 'Delete' key (or which ever key it needs to go to system startup) and change the boot drive to ur CD drive.

change the boot order in the bios and you should be ok then
