Im kinda guessing that your teacher wanted to teach you the importance of abstract thought and wanted you to research about a subjet with complex understanding between people, so basically you have to rationalize what you think about heaven and leave just an idea that represent it.
I am sure that i am not that helpfull but my advice is just write about what you think heaven is and then resume it as much as you can.

Heaven, Ashley, can be mathematically equated to a single dimensioned figure. It has no physical existence in this world, and has an imaginary, (and some would say necessary) value only.
