What he said is correct. Iran has "unclean hands" in the area of international law as it applies to embassies, and can't complain about the actions of the US.

as we have no diplomatic relation with Iran they do not enjoy immunity...it is that simple...bet you were one of those cheering when the Iranians took over with hostages the US embassy before Reagan....there WAS an agreement then...they didn't care...
