To me it is the sound of all my kids whether they are arguing or not as I know they are all safe.The sound of crickets in the garden is pretty cool too.

The first cry my daughter made when she was born. She and my wife were very poorly. The 1 minute from her being born to crying was the longest in my life. She is now 10 and I can still remember her first cry. I will never forget it.

That is a good noise if your a parent but for a noise that is universal I would have to say the sound of rain and thunder when your sleeping in bed safe and sound.
I also like hearing the sound of a Jumbo jet late at night when im in bed and its really quite.
I think sounds at night have to be better as the hearing senses get better due to the lack of light...

1. Sound of my kids all safe at home
2. Sound of an excellent thunder and lightnening storm(throw some rain in too for good theater)
3. Sound of silence early in the morning after a heavy snow the night before....awesome.
