Yes I do, there is shop near were I live, and I have seen, yes actually seen them put dead cooked fish, and chips into a grease proof bag, then wrapped them in paper.
I know you can only take my word for it, or not, I cannot prove it to you, but as I have witnessed them, yes I believe they exist.

Man now ya got me wanting good old aussie fish and chips! Im an aussie living in Canada and let me tell you they wouldnt know good fish and chips if it bit them.Aussie style is like the english chippy

I do ,but only when they are cooked to perfection. Good Fish and chips are very hard to find (as are good pork pies ) .The batter must be light and crispy, not like soggy, thick Yorkshire pudding and the fish and potatoes must be of good quality. The best F&C should be cooked in beef dripping ,which are again very hard to find. Whe we go to Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales we go the the chip cafe on the main street...... perfection.

I really, really believe in fish and Chips, and if I wasn't on weightwatchers, I'd be straight to the chippy to get some.
