It is not idiots that get on with it. It is the absence of self or ego.
A monk is not stupid but get on with life no matter what happens. Mother Theresa is able to nurse sick people no matter what people praise her or called her action stupid.
An idiot has no ego or the concept of self. A enlightened person has remove the focus on self. Only when the self is threatened that makes you feel worry and uneasy.
So which part is the self : mind, heart, brain, soul etc
