Maybe you should measure the tempreture of the CPU and the motherboard through utilities like CoolFan etc. System restarts are mainly due to overheating of the system components.
Here is another method: -
1. R.click on MY COMPUTER and then on properties.
2. From the dialog box click on advanced tab.
3. Then click on the settings tab under "Startup and Recovery" and uncheck "Automatically Restart" under "System Failure".
Thank You

the main straightforward problem with desktops shutting down seconds whilst they start is a corrupt (or fried) stick of RAM. the reason it restarts is with the help of the fact whilst the pc tries besides up and push innovations into the undesirable stick of RAM, it actually falls right into a digital black hollow, inflicting the pc to "freak out." The restart is the desktops organic attempt to repair itself. ** whilst engaged on desktops, continuously be optimistic to floor your self via touching any unpainted piece of steel. This removes all static electricity from you, very much reducing the possibilities of you frying any aspects using static ask your self.** in case you could need to test to be certain if this is the difficulty, open your case (assuming its a private pc) and eliminate a million stick of RAM (every person). After removing a million stick, initiate the pc up. If a similar problem happens, positioned the preliminary stick of RAM returned in its unique spot, and pull out yet another stick, and repeat. whilst the difficulty ultimately disappears, you be attentive to you have discovered the difficulty. this is often my first step in diagnosing what you have defined above.

i recently had this problem. it turned out to be the external battery back-up. if you don't have one of those, then it's the internal power supply that has just worn out and you need to get a new one. hope this helps you.

yes
it could be power problem, or infected by a virus, if there is no message concerning it, if suddenly it shuts down then it is more probably a power problem
