HTML Forms?

Hello

Thanks for seeing my question





I need to put a survey on my site which is hosted on Geocities FREE

I need to know whether i can do this with HTML forms ??
And what method should i put ?? GET or POST ??


And also please tell me, is there a way in which i can send all the survey entries directly to my mailbox. ???

your form method will be post and action will be mailto:yourmailaddress
eg



with the click of the submit the form data will be mailed to the email id.
the fill you will recieve will be .ATT format which you can open with a notepad.
it will have key value pairs of the form data.
But on the server where the site is hosted, your default mail client has to be configured...
say outlook

Read the Geocities FAQ. The method you use will depend on what your server supports. In this case your server is run by Geocities, so you'd need to ask them.

i don't know how to make the surveys.. but i m sure there are some websites that offers u for free by putting ads..

You can use some autoresponder code e.g royalresponder for doing so
