I had a hard time picking my childrens names which are Jennifer and Jake. Jake is not short for anthing. Anyway I was always partial to Shiloh for a girl. Here are some others. my husbands grandmothers name was Lurline( lur-line).His grandfathers was Leland. His mothers middle name is Gertrude Nickname for this is gee gee. My name is Jeanette which is pretty rare nickname for this is Nettie. Boy names are harder I like Jake. My husbands fathers name is Colin Bennett which are both good and unusual. Kelley is my maiden name good boys name though. My grandfather whom I miss very much name was Leon. I have an uncle named Royce. A nephew named Parker and his little brother named paxton(both have a different dad). Anyway these are some different ones in my family. Hope your search goes well. For some good old fashioned names take a walk around and older cemetary. They have some beautiful names on the headstones that have been long forgotten and what a great way to memorialize people that have been gone for many years. Again Good Luck!!!! Congrats!!!!!!

I dont like weird names or names that you can tell someone tried way to hard to come up with I do like uncommon for example I have two girls and there names are Priscilla & Lilliana not weird but not common.

We have a foster baby at our church that I have alot to do with. We talk of making her our own. My sixteen year old was saying that she doesn't look like a Nicole, which is her middle name. Her first name is Breanna, she doesn't fit that name either. I told her that if by some miracle that we got her that I would change her name, using the name that was given her. Here is goes....... Anna Bre Nicole......... She is 8 months old and it fits her beautifully. Just take some names and start rearranging them. Im sure that whaterver name you choose will be great.

i really like Fey as an unusual girls name but i think a child woun´t be happy with this name
