What is the top 10 (must visit) casinos in Las Vegas? Why?

My top ten
#1-Caesars Palace-Fountains, Statues, The Forum Shops, incredible pool, great restaurants & clubs.

#2-Venetian-The Grand Canal Shoppes, beautiful art, The attention to detail is amazing,

#3-Luxor-What can you say, it's the world's largest pyramid. Sphinx, King Tut's Tomb, Hieroglyphics(sp?)

#4-Bellagio-Fountains of Bellagio-The Atrium is an awesome site. Great pool

#5-Wynn-Beautiful hotel, the waterfall is cool,

#6-Mirage-Volcano,Aquarium - White Tigers, very cool theme

#7-NY NY-Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Express, Each tower is a famous NY landmark building.

#8-MGM-Largest hotel in the world, Lion Habitat, Studio 54.MGM Arena

#9-Mandalay Bay-The most awesome pool in LV, The Shark Reef.

#10-LV Hilton-The best sports book in LV, Quarks Bar in the Space Quest Casino, Star Trek.

The Monte Carlo is a pretty cool place, as is the Hard Rock & Palms. Silverton has the Bass Pro Shop, Main Street Station for the Antiques & Artifacts. I could go on & on. Make sure you visit the first five, then see as many as you have time for. Remember there's always a next time.

MGM a city in itself, has everything including a monorail stop.

Luxor when is the next time you will get to visit a pyramid? Plus their pool area rocks.

Venetian gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. Try their outdoor gondolas my husband and I went on them and had a blast.

Wynn beautiful, a lot of celebrity sightings and great night life. Don't stay there though - rooms are expensive and not worth it.

Caesars large mall and a unique casino.

Bellagio beautiful. Their gardens have a new theme every season and their water ballet out in front of the property is graceful.

Harrahs their blackjack tables are so much fun. Their party pit is a must stop because the dealers are really nice.

Mandalay Bay great pool area and their restaurants are unique. Check out the bar that has a sheet of ice covering it to keep your drinks cold.

That is only 8 but those are the 8 I prefer. :)

belagio- for its elegance and beauty, the fountain show and the ceiling in the lobby are gorgeous
new york new york- not very large by comparison but neat none the less. it has a great smaller than life replica in the front complete with the statue of liberty
luxor- with its pyramid shape and Egyptian decor it is a must see. little pricy but their rooms with jacuzzis at the window are awesome
MGM grand- it is so magnificent with its gigantic gold lion it too is a must see. it is enormous with i think over 500 rooms
mirage- beautiful casino with white lions on display. Siegfried and roys secret garden the dolphin exhibit are great. you kind of forget you are in the desert.

these are just a few of the beautiful casinos on the strip in las vegas. they are great in their own way. i should also mention the aladdin and excaliber both too are my favorites. hope this helps

The top ten for me get their rating from hot waitresses, good slots, cool scene, layout/theme.

Well i am not sure about top ten because there are many types of top ten, gambling? dinner? shows? women? there are many variables.
My advice is that you go to the Strip and visit one and then another if you enjoy what you see stay, that simple. Other place for casinos is Downtown and there are also the local casinos.
If you are more explicit on what you are looking for i may be of more assistance.

all the casinos are open 24hrs and maximum have 24hr nutrition courts. The present shops etc in lots of cases close around ineffective night. i might advise seeing Sirens of TI, Mirage volcano, Bellagio fountain and in lots of cases strolling around absorbing the ambience all are unfastened events
