i was actually gonna name my daughter gaby, but i named her kristen instead.. though thats what i should have named her because she gabs all of the time..

1. Briana, it's my name so I'm bias, but it's served me well
2. Catharine, my favorite girl name
3. Rachel, it's nice, simple, and is another of my favorites
4. Samantha, a very good name for a girl, plus I like Sam
5. Allison, cute name (Allie), good for adult too
6. Erin, nice, short name, a classic
7. Julia, always liked it, Jules is an adorable nickname too
8. Leigha, love the name, but not the spelling, prefer Leah
9. Marissa, nice sounding name, looks nice too
10. Natalie, great name, very classy
11. Stacey, like the name, nice spelling too
12. Gaby, cute name, consider Gabrielle or Gabriella also

I'm partial to Ashley and Rachel. In the end, they're all beautiful names and when attached to a beautiful baby, any one of them will make you happy. That said, personally, I'd stay away from Marissa and any name starting with an M. It just seems like too much of a mouthful when you try to say Marissa Marie. Not very pleasing to the ear...
(No offense to anyone named Marissa Marie!! This is just a very analytical judgment. There is really absolutely nothing wrong with the name.)
