Most of the time. I personally believe that our conscience is the voice of our spirit/our heart/the real us...but if we keep ignoring or going against what our conscience is telling us, it can become 'deadened' and won't be able to guide us so clearly.

I hope I may rely on it. Conscience has a wondrous life of her own, just like another person's life, and so it is the primary tool of consciousness. So conscience behaves sort of independently of me, and she may even be unpredictable, and so affect me while I am unconscious of it.

Therefore I sometimes spurred by my conscience even do things that I would not have wanted to. Therefore I hope my conscience may behave with brighter wisdom in guiding me, so making me see the broader perspective, and leading me unto good outcomes.

But my conscience may be a good companion to me, given to me by mother consciousness as a sort of good soul-wife of me, one with whom we may try things and morals in theory, and so also plunge ourselves together into intimate visions and reveries, into disciplined discoveries into consciousness, and so do several ethical simulations and emulations, and so support each other in the concrete outside behavior of ... me.

Yes. (morals can be inconvenient, but I have to face the reflection in the mirror)
