Fico score, amount of late payments, amount of collections, how often your accounts are in good standing, etc.

Well, they aren't obligated to give it to you. But some people do. By telling you where they retrieved the information. You are allowed to get a free credit report each year from the credit reporting agencies: Experian, Transunion, & Equifax

When it comes to BUYING home, Its not the homeowners that are checking it. Its the morgage company and sometimes the realtors. Homeowners will not have access to any of your credit history.

What the mortgage lenders are looking at will be your credit score. And they will look most importantly at home timley you have paid bills in your life. They hate to see bankrputcy and collection and love to see a flawless history of bill payments. They also may look at how much overall debt you have, but it doesnt play nearly as big a role for most people.

A home owner will absolutely never get that information. They will just get to know whether you were approved or not.
