its kinda like BLUETOOTH except its in older version phones n u have to actually join one infrared enabled phone to the other n transfer files, photos etc.....kinda outdated i guess....

sending files to other mobiles its just llike bluetooth but the phones have to be next to each other so that the infared links are next to each other
