I've always thought I'd be good at making T-shirts. I've always had trouble finding good tees and end up wearing the same ones for years. I know there are a bunch of make your own t-shirt places/websites out there, but they're all pretty hokey/cheesy. I want to come up with designs, and choose the materiels used in the shirts. I imagine I would sell them online at my own website (which doesn't exist yet).

What's the best way to do this or look into it? I suppose if I were to get real serious I would need facorites to manufactuer the shirts. I just need somewhere to start is all, thanks.

The easiest way is to buy shirts wholesale and then have them screen printed, that way you can use t-shirts, button up shirts, etc. I live near L.A., I don't know where you are but there are some great wholesale places online as well. You can also do jeans and jackets.

I personally save myself the trouble and go through cafepress.com, since I sell t-shirts as well as other items. My clocks are the most popular.

They send me the profits, so I don't put money out of my own pocket and they keep the overhead cost.

The website is set up so you can take any form of payment online and they take care of shipping and returns. I have been with them for 2 years and I love it.

I change the products constantly and it costs me NOTHING.

Good luck!
