My agency's handyman installed a water pump in a cupboard in my bedroom to fix a problem with the hotwater. But the pump is ridiculously loud every time anyone uses hotwater r flushes a toilet. Its not really the landlords fault as he just provided the money to buy the pump under the advice of the handyman. When i asked for the pump to be removed (and for them toi install an electric shower) the real estate said that the landlord refused as he just paid for the pump. Who can i complain to? There must be regulations as to noise controls - especially in bedrooms?

i think u cant do anything about it now
because they would state that u have already made your choice u should have done more research before u went ahead and installed the pump.

if u want the shower then u may have to pay for it yourself

ask citizens advice bureau for more info
or even the water supplier
they would know more about the laws on plumbing or noise pollution
