Yes, it is. The English are too rapped up in being English and are willing to belittle a foreigner who does wrong against an English player, it's sick. As you said, they're going to drive away 1 of the best English football has ever seen and sour his love with English football. But if you think about it, he's a tough cookie and he'll stay and stick it. The booing and jeering is what gets him going.

Well at first i think it was deserved for being a cheating gay! but now i dont mind him so much because he is a great footballer...

But the biggest problem is, despite all the abuse he got and the fact he was fearing for his life after the world cup. he STILL cheats nearly every week by diving etc.. shame because he is good enough not to have to.......

Drogba has cleaned his act up (ish) maybe Ronaldo will soon

The way the english fans behaved after the wc was bad. They could see nothing wrong with rooneys action, but made such a big deal of ronaldo's wink. No doubt England doesnt win anything.
Ronaldo is such a great talent, how i wish he would stop diving , its a disgrace. he should clean up his act.

not at all what he did was disgusting but i do want him to stay in the premiership but it'll be forgotten by next season, i think if he didnt do what he did in the world cup and we didnt treat him the way that we did he wouldnt of played as well as he has done this season, i have got big respect for the way he has played and just forgotten about what happened and i think that has made him a better player

In a way his bad treatment is over the top, the world cup is long over. However if he stops diving which he has for sometime the he'll win the fans over.

I disagree with you because Cristiano sees to play better when he is being booed, it certainly does not seem to faze him. If and when he decides to leave Manchester United and English Football, I personally do not think it will have anything to do with his treatment here, it will be because the temptation (and money) of moving to a bigger Football Club cannot be ignored.

I think that's part of Football where you may be loved but if you disappoint a bit you get in a big trouble.

But in the same time I think he is happy no wonder he's just growing and growing in the club.

Thanx!
