we wore skins for centuries why now is it wrong to wear skins?

is the cruelty side what deters and repulse`s or maybe it`s a sign of a time when we were less civilised or just the environment that surrounds you... say a New yorker prefers Mink for the image where as an Eskimo prefers Caribu skin for the practicality?

Many people dont know this but the animals are often skinned alive. They are half conscious when they are being skinned. On fur farms in china and such they often do this. At least they dont skin cows alive. Some evil people own fur farms like beyonce actually own those farms! Its wrong!

I think wearing furs of protected or endangered animal species is a sign of human ignorance and selfishness. But I see nothing wrong in products of bovine or porcine skin - these animals would die for the meat.

Its not wrong to wear skins, it maybe in poor taste to wear skins of endangered animals but other wise, go for it. I love leather, last time I check it came from an animal. Does these nuts wear leather shoes?

PS.. I had a good steak for dinner last night, it was so good.

I suppose we wore skins before as a matter of survival-there were no technology to create artificial materials to be used to clothe us to make us survive the harsh conditions of nature. No choice but to use animal skins-it's them or us, I guess. Now is different.
