There are specific colors for religions, Green for Islam, Saffron for Hindu, White for Christians and so on.....Red symbolizes danger and anger in every religion. Green is a color of serenity in Islam and color of poison in Hinduism, whereas in Christianity green symbolizes variety of God's creation. Jews think that the color purple will give them money where as purple in Islam is a symbol of both gloom and happiness, it depends upon the brightness/darkness of the color. Black is taken as a bad color in every religion though ZULU tribe of South Africa wears black on there ceremonious occasions......there is a lot more to describe about colors and religion....Would advise you to read "The History of Colors" By J.
