What do interpersonal signifiers portray in the communicative process and how can these influence effective communication? Can you give me any examples, verbal and non verbal? Please?

Interpersonal communications can portray many things about a person to another.

These are used effectively with single (or married) people out on the town. Use of mini skirts, low cut tops, perfume, aftershave, cars, fine food and music appeal to the senses and set the mood for romance. If a male says the right things to a female then this can lead to sexual relations.
