The Lakers probably won't get too far this season with all the injuries. Kobe is still in his prime, but what are his chances of couple more rings?

the lakers chances of getting another ring while Kobe is still there will depend on them getting a strong 1 guard, who can rebound , play defense and has good court generalship (read; make sure the spacing is right on offensive sets) and the development of bynum or bringing in a veteran forward who is a strong rebounder and defender but not so dreadful on the offensive end that the defense cant cheat and sag off of him...bynum worked hard in the offseason and is learning faster than the normal curve for a 19 year old post player but is still a work in progress (but you cant teach 'big' that's why Doc wouldn't trade him for Kidd) and its all too apparent now that smush is not the 1 guard to take the team to the next level...so the search for chemistry continues...Kobe's best opportunity for another ring might come in two more years, next year if a big move is made...at least thats how I see it...

Kobe Bryant has secured his legacy among basketball's elite wether he wins another ring or not. He is a very talented player who leads a team lacking in experience and superstars. The LA Lakers have potential, though. They are a great team who is dealing with injuries right now.
Kobe has earned his share of rings. If he wants another one, the management team must strive to get a fellow all-star by Kobe's side. The team cannot rely on Kobe forever to get them out of messy situations. I think if Kobe gets better players around him, he will win another ring within the next three seasons.

Another Championship? I don't think so.. Unless they could have someone who could pass, I mean a real passer, Lakers will always be a so-so team.. He need somebody who could make plays for the bigmen, Kobe is a pure scorer, so don't expect him to do what Jason Kidd does to his team.. Lakers and Cavs have almost the same story now.. So championship is not possible for either team.. I guess advancing to 2nd round of the playoffs is a good consolation..

I don't think he will get any more rings. It takes more than one player to take a team to the playoffs and it takes more than one player to win the playoffs. None of the current premier players want to play with an arrogant ****** like Kobe and by the time any young players can come up through the lakers system he will be old. So he should just quit and take his whiny butt home.

It may actually never happen again. Kobe is an egomaniac & his chances of finding teammates of allstar capabilty that are willing to put up with his diva attitude are slim to none. His basketball skills are top notch but there is nothing else about him that is even remotely high quality. Even after that spanking by Dallas he'll never get a clue.

I like Kobe, but I don't think another ring is possible at this point in his career. He needs a dominant veteran big man and a great veteran clutch shooting guard. How the heck are they going to get those two now?? By the time two youthful potentials can mature and fill those voids, he will have already past his prime.

if he plays with the spurs.. most likely.. or in the near future, in his last few years in the league he'll be with a championship contending team.. but hey, you cant win a champhionship that easy..
