when i click on something like the next or back button of a page, it's like the mouse button double-clicks and goes 2 pages back...it also happens when i am trying to bring up a page from my toolbar, the page will pop up, then go right back down. this doesn't happen always though. this problem just started today. if i have a page open, and i open a new page on top of it, and then close out the page, it exit's out of both pages...like i said, not always...maybe 6 out of 10 times...is it the mouse or the computer??

what do i do about it?? it's VERY ANNOYING!

Goto mouse settings in control panel
Then under double-click speed adjust the speed

Also you must try adjusting the positon of your fingers on the mouse. This ususally happens when you have a small mouse

Start with the easy fix, check out your mouse......open up the back of it and see if any dirt or dust has accumulated there. That has always been my solution, but if that doesn't work, then I never went that far. It might be your internet service or your computer having a virus.

Go into your control panel under mouse, and you can adjust your mouse double click speed. there is also a nice utility from microsoft that helps with accidental double clicks called tweakui
